Broadcast Reports
Every broadcast in Resool has its own report page that shows how it performed: how many messages were sent, delivered, read and replied to, what it cost, which messages failed or were skipped and why, and the status of each recipient. While a broadcast is sending you can follow its progress live and pause, resume or cancel it.
Before you begin
- You need See campaigns to open reports and Create and send campaigns to pause, resume or cancel a broadcast.
How to open a broadcast report
- Go to Broadcasts.
- Click a broadcast that is In progress, Paused, Completed, Cancelled or Failed.
Drafts and scheduled broadcasts open in the editor instead. See Creating a broadcast.
Broadcasts › open a completed broadcast
The report page with the Completed badge, "Started" and "Finished" dates, the KPI cards Sent, Delivered, Read, Replied and Cost, and below them the Funnel, Not delivered and Message cards.

What's in the report
Header
The broadcast's status, when it Started and Finished, and while it's sending, a Progress bar.
If the broadcast paused automatically, the reason is shown at the top, for example "Paused automatically: Meta rated this number's quality as low. Wait for it to recover before resuming."
Results
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Sent | Messages sent, out of the contacts who weren't skipped |
| Delivered | Share of sent messages delivered to the phone, with the number |
| Read | Share of sent messages that were read |
| Replied | Share of sent messages that got a reply |
| Cost | What the broadcast cost so far, with the estimate made before sending |
Funnel
Sent, delivered, read and replied side by side, each as a share of sent messages.
Not delivered
Messages that Failed, grouped by reason, and contacts that were Skipped with the skip reason. Common reasons from Meta:
| Reason | What it means |
|---|---|
| Undeliverable (not on WhatsApp or outdated app) | The number has no WhatsApp account or an old app version. |
| Not delivered to keep engagement healthy (Meta limit) | Meta limits how many marketing messages each person receives. |
| The person stopped marketing messages | The contact opted out in WhatsApp. Resool marks them Opted out. |
| Outside the 24-hour window | A non-template message was sent after the reply window closed. |
| Template variables don't match | The values didn't fit the template's variables. |
| Template doesn't exist in this language | The template isn't approved in that language. |
| Throughput limit reached | Too many messages per second for the number. Lower the speed. |
| Spam rate limit hit | Meta slowed the number down. Lower the speed and check your template. |
| Too many messages to this person | The contact received too many messages in a short time. |
Message
The template that was sent, as the customer sees it.
How to check individual recipients
The Recipients table lists every contact in the broadcast with their Status, a Detail (for example the failure reason) and when it was last Updated.
Use Filter recipients to show only All, Queued, Sent, Delivered, Read, Replied, Failed or Skipped. Click Load more to see more rows.
Broadcasts › open a broadcast › Recipients
The Recipients table filtered to Failed, with three contacts, their Failed status, the Detail "Undeliverable (not on WhatsApp or outdated app)" and the Updated time.

How to pause, resume or cancel a broadcast
- Pause: while a broadcast is In progress, click Pause. No more messages go out until you resume.
- Resume: on a Paused broadcast, click Resume. If it paused automatically, fix the reason first.
- Cancel broadcast: click the × button and confirm. Messages already sent stay sent. The rest won't go out.
Why a broadcast pauses automatically
| Reason | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Meta rated this number's quality as low | Wait for the quality rating to recover, then resume with a lower speed. |
| The template is not approved (anymore) | Check the template on the templates page; create a new one if it was rejected or disabled. |
| The WhatsApp channel is not connected | Reconnect the channel in Settings › Channels, then resume. |
| The segment no longer exists | Create a new segment and a new broadcast. |

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why is the delivered rate low?
What you can do:
- Open Not delivered to see the main reasons.
- Remove numbers that aren't on WhatsApp from your segment.
- Avoid sending marketing templates to the same people too often.
Why does the cost differ from the estimate?
The estimate uses Meta's published rates per country and category before sending. The final cost depends on what was actually delivered and on Meta's billing. Meta's invoice is final.
Can I resend to people who didn't receive it?
Resool doesn't resend automatically. Fix the reason shown under Not delivered, then create a new broadcast for the contacts you want to reach again.
How fast are the numbers updated?
Statuses update as Meta reports them. Delivered, read and replied counts can keep growing after sending finishes.
