How to delete your data

If you use a business that uses Resool

Resool stores the conversations that businesses have with their customers on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and other channels. To have your messages, comments or contact details removed, ask the business you wrote to, or send us the request.

Ask us directly

Email support@resool.io with the subject "Delete my data", and tell us: the name of the business (or its Facebook Page / Instagram account / WhatsApp number) you contacted, and your name, username or phone number as it appears in the conversation. We may ask you to confirm it is you.

We delete or anonymise the matching contact, conversations, comments and call records within 30 days and confirm by email. Data we must keep by law, and anonymised statistics, are not deleted.

If you removed our app from Facebook or Instagram

Removing the app from your Facebook or Instagram settings stops new data from reaching us. To delete data we already hold, use the email request above.

If you have a Resool account

You can delete contacts and conversations in the app, and delete your whole workspace from Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace. Workspace data is removed from our systems within 30 days.
