Broadcasts

Reach the right customers on WhatsApp, at the right time

Send promotions, reminders and important updates to a segment of contacts in a few clicks, personalised with each customer's name and details. Resool protects your number while sending, and every reply lands in your team inbox.

Audience

Message the people who actually want to hear from you

Every broadcast goes to a segment, such as hot leads in one city or VIP customers who haven't written in a month. Before you send, Resool shows how many contacts will receive it and who will be skipped and why, so there are no surprises.

  • Dynamic or static segments as your audience
  • Only contacts who opted in for WhatsApp marketing
  • Opted-out contacts and duplicate numbers are always skipped

Templates

Create, submit and track templates without leaving Resool

Design WhatsApp templates with a text, image, video or document header, a carousel of cards, and buttons that open your website, call you, copy an offer code or open a WhatsApp form. Submit them to Meta for review and follow their approval and quality from one page.

  • Marketing, utility and authentication templates
  • Variables filled from the contact's name, fields or fixed text, with a fallback
  • Sync templates you already created in Meta's tools

Safe delivery

Send at scale while protecting your number

Choose how many messages go out per minute, and send from several WhatsApp numbers or Messenger Pages so each contact gets the message once, on the first channel that reaches them. The summary shows the estimated cost and how long sending will take before you confirm.

  • Estimated cost based on Meta's published rates
  • Pauses automatically if Meta rates the number's quality as low
  • Pause, resume or cancel at any time while it sends

Reports

Know what worked and fix what didn't

Each broadcast has its own report with sent, delivered, read and replied rates, the cost against your estimate and a funnel of the whole campaign. Failed messages are grouped by reason, and the recipients table shows the status of every single contact.

  • Live progress while the broadcast is sending
  • Clear reasons for every message that wasn't delivered
  • Compare campaigns over time in Reports

Frequently asked questions

Which plans include Broadcasts?
Broadcasts are included in the Growth and Scale plans. See pricing.
Which channels can I broadcast on?
WhatsApp numbers and Messenger Pages. Messenger templates are always utility updates, so use WhatsApp marketing templates for offers. Instagram has no message templates and can't be used for broadcasts.
Why do broadcasts use templates?
WhatsApp and Messenger only let businesses start a conversation, or write after the 24-hour reply window, with a template Meta has approved. Every broadcast sends one of your approved templates.
What does a broadcast cost?
Meta charges per template message delivered, depending on the template category and the recipient's country. Resool shows an estimated cost before you send, and Meta's invoice is final.
Where do replies go?
Replies open normal conversations in your team inbox, routed by your channel's rules, and count as Replied in the broadcast report.
How are unsubscribes handled?
When a contact sends STOP on WhatsApp, they're marked as opted out, and broadcasts always skip opted-out contacts.
