WooCommerce
WooCommerce is the e-commerce plugin for WordPress sites. Connecting WooCommerce to Resool shows each contact's WooCommerce customer details and orders next to the conversation, lets agents share products in a reply, and lets workflows start when orders are created or change status, then update orders and customers in your store.
What you can do with WooCommerce
In the Inbox and on the contact page
- Customer details: the contact's WooCommerce customer profile, such as total spent and number of orders.
- Orders: the contact's recent orders with number, date, items, total, order status and payment status. Hover an order to see its items.
- Share product: search your products and copy a ready-made product message with the product's title, price and link.
- Open in WooCommerce to jump to your store's orders in WordPress.
In Workflows
- Start a workflow on these WooCommerce events: Order Created, Order Updated, Order Status Changed, Order Cancelled, Order Refunded, Customer Created and Customer Updated.
- Change the store with the Update order status, Add order tag or note and Create or update customer steps.
Before you begin
- You need a WordPress site with WooCommerce installed, and an administrator account on that site.
- The site must be reachable on the public internet at the address you enter.
- In Resool, only workspace Owners and Admins can connect apps.
- Orders are matched to a contact by email address or phone number.
How to connect WooCommerce to Resool
- Go to
Settings › Apps. - Find WooCommerce under Available now (or open the E-commerce tab) and click Connect.
- In the Connect WooCommerce dialog, type your site's address in Store URL, for example
https://your-store.com.

- Review what Resool will be able to do (read your store's orders and products, and add order webhooks so new orders show in the inbox right away) and click Continue.
- Your WordPress site opens in a new window. Sign in as an administrator and approve access on the WooCommerce page. WooCommerce creates the access keys for Resool itself; you don't copy or paste anything.
- You're returned to Resool and see WooCommerce connected. The card shows your store's address and the Manage and Disconnect buttons.
How to configure WooCommerce
Click Manage on the WooCommerce card to open WooCommerce settings. Toggle changes are saved with the save bar at the bottom; Discard reverts them.

- Open WooCommerce store opens your WordPress admin.

How to use WooCommerce in Workflows
Start a workflow on a WooCommerce event
- In Workflows, click the trigger, choose the E-commerce group and pick the Event.
- Set Store to WooCommerce (or Any connected store).
- For Order Status Changed, optionally pick the Statuses that should start it.
WooCommerce statuses map to Resool's statuses like this: Pending payment and On hold are Pending, Processing is Processing, Completed is Completed, Cancelled and Failed are Cancelled, and Refunded is Refunded. The store's own wording is kept in {{order.status}}.
The workflow runs for the contact with the customer's phone or email, and creates a contact when there is none.
Update WooCommerce from a workflow
Add a step from the Stores group and set Store to WooCommerce:
- Update order status: Confirmed and Processing set Processing; Shipped, Delivered and Completed set Completed; Cancelled sets Cancelled.
- Add order tag or note: WooCommerce keeps both tags and notes as a private order note.
- Create or update customer: the matching WooCommerce customer (same phone or email) is updated; otherwise a new one is created.
In the Order field, {{order.id}} is the order that started the workflow. Leave it empty to use the contact's latest order in this store.
Workflows › a workflow › Add a step › Stores › Update order status

How to disconnect WooCommerce
- Go to
Settings › Appsand click Disconnect on the WooCommerce card. - Confirm in the Disconnect WooCommerce? dialog.
Resool stops accessing your store and its orders no longer appear in the Inbox. Contacts already in Resool stay.
FAQ and troubleshooting
Does Resool show abandoned carts for WooCommerce?
No. WooCommerce doesn't share abandoned carts with other apps, so the panel shows customer details and orders only, and the Abandoned Checkout trigger doesn't start for WooCommerce.
The connection doesn't complete after I approve in WordPress
What you can do:
- Check that the Store URL is the public address of the site, including
https://. - Sign in to WordPress with an administrator account.
- Make sure no security plugin or firewall blocks requests to your site's WooCommerce REST API.
Why does Order Status Changed run only once per status?
WooCommerce sends an update every time an order is saved. Resool starts Order Status Changed only when the status actually changes, while Order Updated runs on each save.
Which order details can a workflow message include?
Variables such as {{order.number}}, {{order.total}}, {{order.currency}}, {{order.status}}, {{order.items}}, {{order.url}} and {{customer.name}}. Open the trigger to see the full list.
