Notifications
The Notification Center collects everything in Resool that needs your attention: when someone mentions you, assigns you a ticket, task or item, replies in a thread, adds you to a conversation, or when an SLA is about to be breached. Clicking a notification takes you straight to the conversation, ticket, task or chat it's about. You choose which topics you're notified about, and whether Resool also shows browser notifications and plays a sound.
How to open your notifications
Click the bell (Notification Center) at the bottom of the left navigation. A red badge shows how many notifications are unread.
The panel has three tabs:
- New: notifications you haven't archived yet.
- Archived: notifications you've archived.
- All: everything.

FAQ and troubleshooting
I don't get browser notifications
What you can do:
- Check that Browser notifications is on in Notification settings.
- If Resool says notifications are blocked for this site, allow them in your browser's site settings.
- Make sure your computer's own notification settings allow your browser to show notifications.
Do I get a notification for every new customer message?
No. The Notification Center is for things that involve you personally: mentions, assignments, replies and alerts. New customer messages show in the Inbox, with unread counts on each view.
What's the difference between archiving and reading?
Opening a notification marks it as read. Archiving moves it out of the New tab so you can keep that tab as a to-do list. Archived notifications are still on the Archived and All tabs.
Can I stop notifications from one Team chat channel?
Yes. Open the channel, click Chat options and choose Mute. See Team chat.
