The Resool.io mobile app lets your team answer customers from their phone or tablet. Agents can reply to conversations from every connected channel, leave internal notes, assign, snooze and close conversations, manage contacts, and get push notifications for new messages, mentions and assignments when they're away from their desk. The app runs on iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, in English and Arabic.

Before you begin

  • You need a Resool account and a workspace. Accounts and workspaces are created on the web. See Setting up your Resool account.
  • Search for Resool.io in the App Store or Google Play and install the app.

How to sign in

  1. Open the app. You see Welcome back.
  2. Sign in the same way as on the web:
    • Work email and Password, then Sign in, or
    • Email me a sign-in code, then enter the 6-digit code from your email, or
    • Continue with Google.
  3. If you use two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app.
  4. If you belong to several workspaces, pick one on Choose a workspace.

Find your way around

On a phone, the tab bar at the bottom has:

  • Inbox: your conversations.
  • Contacts: your contact list and profiles.
  • Spaces: your spaces and items (on plans that include Spaces).
  • Notifications: your Notification Center.
  • More: switch workspace, and open the Dashboard, Team chat, Deals, Tickets and Settings.

On a tablet the same items appear in a side rail, and the Inbox and Contacts show the list and the open item side by side.

What you see depends on your role and your workspace's plan, the same as on the web. A module your plan doesn't include shows Not in your plan.

How to reply to conversations

  1. Tap Inbox. Open the views menu to switch between Mine, Unassigned, All conversations, Collaborations, lifecycle stages, teams, channels and custom inboxes.
  2. Filter by status (Open, Pending, Snoozed, Closed, All), sort (Newest, Oldest, Longest open, Shortest open) or show Unread only.
  3. Tap a conversation to open it.
  4. Type your reply and tap Send. You can also:
    • Switch to Note to write an internal note your team can see.
    • Insert Snippets, emoji and variables.
    • Attach files and photos, or tap the microphone to record a voice note, and tap again to stop and send.
    • Use AI assist to suggest a reply, summarize the conversation or improve your text.
    • Share a booking link from a connected scheduling app.
  5. If the reply window has closed (for example, after 24 hours on WhatsApp), tap Send template to send an approved message template.

Manage a conversation

From the conversation's header and quick actions you can:

  • Assign to a teammate or team, Assign to me or Unassign.
  • Close (with closing notes when your workspace requires them) or Reopen.
  • Snooze until a time you pick.
  • Add Collaborators and change the Lifecycle stage.
  • See the contact's details, tags and custom fields.
  • Call the contact: WhatsApp call opens WhatsApp on your phone, and Local line uses your phone's dialer.
  • Block contact.

Contacts, tickets, deals and spaces

  • Contacts: search, open a profile, edit details and tags, add a contact and review possible duplicates.
  • Tickets: see your tickets, reply, change status and priority, and create a ticket.
  • Deals: see your pipeline, open a deal and create a new one.
  • Spaces: open your spaces and items, and see My Work.
  • Team chat: talk with your team in channels and direct messages.
  • Dashboard: the same summary as on the web, including reply time.

How to set up push notifications

  1. When the app asks, allow notifications.
  2. Open More › Settings, switch to the Notification settings tab and make sure Push notifications is on.

You get push notifications for customer messages in conversations assigned to you, conversations assigned to you by a teammate, unread Team chat direct messages, and everything that appears in your Notification Center, such as mentions, ticket assignments and reminders. Topics you turn off in Notification settings aren't pushed. Tap a notification to open the conversation or item it's about.

How to change your status and profile

Open More › Settings. On the Profile tab you can change your photo, name, phone number and language, set your status (Online, Away or Offline), change your password, turn on two-factor authentication, choose dark mode, and sign out. Only online members get new conversations automatically. See Search and availability.

Notes and limitations

  • Sign-up, creating a workspace and inviting members are done on the web. The app says "No account with this email" if you try to sign in with an email that has no Resool account.
  • Workspace settings such as channels, members, workflows and apps are managed on the web.
  • Some modules aren't in the app yet. When you open one, you see Coming soon to the app with Open on the web.
  • Calls you place from the app go through WhatsApp or your phone line, not through Resool.

FAQ and troubleshooting

I don't get push notifications

What you can do:

  • Check that notifications are allowed for Resool.io in your phone's settings. If they're off, the app shows "Notifications are turned off for Resool in your phone's settings."
  • Check Push notifications in the app's Notification settings.
  • Make sure the conversation is assigned to you, or that you were mentioned. You're not pushed for every message in the workspace.

The app says "No account with this email"

You need a Resool account first. Create it on the web, or accept your invitation email, then sign in to the app with the same email. See Joining a workspace from an invitation.

How do I switch workspaces in the app?

Tap More. The workspace switcher is at the top.

Can I use the app in Arabic?

Yes. Change Language in More › Settings. The layout switches to right-to-left.
