Inviting Teammates
Inviting teammates lets you bring your colleagues into your Resool workspace so they can answer conversations, work on tickets and deals, and collaborate in one shared inbox. You invite people by email, choose their role and teams up front, and manage everyone from the Members page: change roles, move people between teams, suspend access or remove someone who has left.
Before you begin
- You need the Invite people permission to send invitations, and Change roles, suspend and remove members to manage existing members. Both are included in the built-in Owner, Admin and Manager roles.
- Only an Owner can invite someone as an Owner or change an Owner's role.
- Create your teams first if you want to add people to them while inviting. See Teams.
How to invite people
- Go to
Settings › Members. - Click Invite people.
- In Email addresses, type an address and press Enter. Repeat for each person. You can invite up to 50 people at once.
- Choose a Role. Everyone in this invitation gets the same role.
- Optionally, choose one or more Teams. This field appears once your workspace has at least one team.

Notes and limitations
- You can't change your own role or remove yourself from this page.
- A workspace must always keep at least one active Owner, so the last Owner can't be suspended, removed or given another role.
- Up to 50 email addresses per invitation; invitations are valid for 7 days.
- Member changes (invitations, role changes, suspensions and removals) are recorded in the Audit log.
FAQ and troubleshooting
The person didn't receive the invitation email. What can I do?
- Ask them to check their spam or promotions folder.
- Check the address on the Pending invitations tab. If it's wrong, Revoke it and invite the correct address.
- If the invitation expired, send a new one.
What's the difference between suspending and removing a member?
Suspending blocks access but keeps the person in the members list so you can Reactivate them later. Removing takes them out of the workspace. In both cases their past work stays, and neither counts as a seat.
Why don't I see the Owner role when inviting?
Only Owners can invite people as Owners or change an Owner's role.
Can I invite someone who already uses Resool in another workspace?
Yes. They accept the invitation with their existing account and can then switch between workspaces.
