Pipedrive
Pipedrive is a sales CRM built around deals and pipelines. Connecting Pipedrive to Resool shows each contact's Pipedrive person, owner and deals next to the conversation, so agents see where a customer is in the pipeline, create or update the person and add notes without leaving the inbox. You can also sync Pipedrive people and their organizations into Resool automatically.
What you can do with Pipedrive
In the Inbox
- See the Pipedrive person you're talking to: name, email, phone and owner, plus any other fields you choose to show.
- See the person's organization with the organization fields you choose.
- See the person's deals with stage, value and status (Open, Won or Lost).
- Create in Pipedrive a person who doesn't exist there yet, or Update in Pipedrive one who does.
- Add note to the Pipedrive person straight from the conversation.
- Edit Pipedrive fields from Resool, if an admin allows it.
- View in Pipedrive to open the person in a new tab.
In the background
- Contact sync: people created or updated in Pipedrive are created or updated in Resool, using the field mapping you set. Pipedrive sends changes to Resool as they happen.
- Company sync: the organization linked to each synced person becomes a Resool company, with its own field mapping.
Before you begin
- You need a Pipedrive user who can install apps from the Pipedrive Marketplace in your company account.
- In Resool, only workspace Owners and Admins can connect apps.
- A contact needs an email address or phone number in Resool to be matched to a Pipedrive person.

Choose which fields agents see
Under View Pipedrive properties on Resool, next to Customize visible properties, click Customize view. Tick fields on the Contact properties (person) and Company properties (organization) tabs, drag them into order and click Save changes. Everyone in the workspace sees the same fields, in the same order, in the Inbox and on contact pages.
Let agents edit Pipedrive fields
Turn on Allow users to edit Pipedrive properties to let teammates change field values from the Pipedrive panel with Edit. Changes go to Pipedrive straight away. Email and phone number can't be edited from Resool.
Turn on Contact sync
- Turn on Turn on Contact sync.
- Under How Contacts are synced, choose Create and update contacts, Create contacts only or Update contacts only.
- Open Advanced settings (shown for the two "create" modes):
- Add the "Auto-Create: Pipedrive" tag: tags contacts created by the sync. Adding this tag doesn't start workflows.
- Include contacts imported in bulk: also creates people that arrive through a Pipedrive import.
- Only contacts created in Pipedrive from now on (with Create contacts only): skips people who were already in Pipedrive.
- Next to Configure field mapping, click Configure. Pair each Pipedrive property with a Resool field, up to 100 mappings. By default, email, phone, first name and last name are mapped.
- Optionally turn on Assign to the Pipedrive owner: the contact's open conversations go to the teammate whose email matches the Pipedrive owner's, even when an AI agent is assigned.
- Click Save changes.
Settings › Apps › Pipedrive › Manage › Contact sync › Configure field mapping

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why doesn't the panel find a person who exists in Pipedrive?
Matching needs exactly the same email or phone number in both places.
What you can do:
- Check for spaces, dashes or a different country code in the phone number.
- Add the email or phone to the Resool contact, then reopen the panel.
Which deals are shown?
The person's deals that aren't deleted, whether open, won or lost.
Do changes in Pipedrive show up right away?
Yes. Pipedrive notifies Resool when a person changes, and Resool also checks for changes every two minutes as a backup.
Can I connect more than one Pipedrive company?
No. Each workspace connects one Pipedrive company at a time.
