Google Calendar
Google Calendar is Google's calendar for scheduling events and video meetings. Connecting Google Calendar to Resool shows each contact's meetings next to the conversation: what's coming up, what already happened, who's invited and the link to join. Agents and salespeople can prepare for a call, send the meeting link or jump into the meeting without leaving the inbox.
What you can do with Google Calendar
In the Inbox
- See the contact's meetings from your Google Calendar, matched by the contact's email address, for the last 6 months and the next 6 months.
- Upcoming meetings show first, soonest at the top, with a live countdown ("Starts in…", "Happening now") so you know when a call is about to start.
- Each meeting shows its title, date and time, status (Confirmed, Unconfirmed, Canceled or Declined), host, video provider (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or another video call), location, guests with their reply (Going, Not going, Maybe, Awaiting reply) and description.
- Join the video call or Copy link to paste it into your reply.
- Open in Google Calendar to see or edit the event in Google.
- Previous meetings are listed below as one line each, with the date, how long it lasted and the outcome (Held, Canceled or Declined). Click one to see the full details.
On the contact page
- The Apps card shows a Google Calendar row with a summary such as "2 upcoming meetings". Click it to open the full meetings list.
On your phone
- If you use the Resool mobile app, you get reminders before your Google Calendar meetings start. You can turn them off under Meetings in your notification settings.
Before you begin
- You need a Google account with Google Calendar. Resool reads the primary calendar of the account you connect.
- In Resool, only workspace Owners and Admins can connect apps.
- Meetings are matched by email. The contact needs an email address in Resool, and that address must be a guest or the organizer of the event.

FAQ and troubleshooting
Why don't I see any meetings for a contact?
The panel shows No meetings when nothing in the last or next 6 months includes the contact's email.
What you can do:
- Check that the contact has an email address in Resool. Without one, the panel shows No email address.
- Make sure the same email is a guest (or the organizer) on the event in Google Calendar.
- Check that the event is on the primary calendar of the connected Google account.
The panel says the Google connection expired. What do I do?
Google sometimes revokes access, for example after a password change. Go to Settings › Apps, disconnect Google Calendar and connect it again.
Can Resool show meetings from my teammates' calendars?
Resool reads the primary calendar of the one Google account connected to the workspace. Meetings on other people's calendars appear only if that account is invited to them.
Does the countdown use my time zone?
Yes. Meeting times are shown in the time zone of the person viewing them.
Can I use Google Calendar together with Calendly or Cal.com?
Yes. Each connected scheduling app gets its own icon in the Inbox sidebar and its own row on the contact page.
