Acuity Scheduling

Acuity Scheduling is an appointment booking tool used by clinics, salons, consultants and service businesses. Connecting Acuity Scheduling to Resool shows each contact's appointments next to the conversation and lets agents send the booking link for any appointment type in a reply. Resool also gets live updates when appointments are scheduled, rescheduled or canceled.

What you can do with Acuity Scheduling

In the Inbox

  • Share booking link from the composer: search your appointment types and insert a booking link into your reply.
  • See the contact's appointments, matched by email address or phone number: upcoming appointments with a live countdown, previous ones with their outcome, plus status and details.
  • Copy link or Join when an appointment has a video link, and Open in Acuity Scheduling to manage it.

On the contact page

  • The Apps card shows an Acuity Scheduling row with a summary such as "1 upcoming meeting". Click it for the full list.

Live updates and notifications

  • Resool adds webhooks to your Acuity account, so new, rescheduled and canceled appointments show up in Resool as they happen.
  • Get a message in Slack when an appointment is booked, rescheduled or canceled. See Slack.
  • If you use the Resool mobile app, you get reminders before appointments start.

Before you begin

  • You need an Acuity Scheduling account with at least one appointment type.
  • In Resool, only workspace Owners and Admins can connect apps.
  • Appointments are matched by the contact's email address or phone number. The contact needs at least one of them in Resool, matching what the client entered when booking.

  1. Go to Settings › Apps and click Disconnect on the Acuity Scheduling card.
  2. Confirm in the Disconnect Acuity Scheduling? dialog.

Resool stops accessing your Acuity account, and the appointments panel and booking link button disappear. You can connect again at any time.
