Odoo + Resool integration
Connect Odoo to Resool with the Resool app for Odoo to see each contact's invoices and balance due in the inbox, create customers and invoices, and send invoice PDFs in chat.
What you can do with Odoo and Resool
In the Inbox and on the contact page
- See the Odoo customer matched to the contact, with name, email and phone.
- Balance due: what the customer still owes, per currency.
- Invoices: each customer invoice with number, date, due date, total, the amount left to pay and its state: Paid, Unpaid, Overdue or Draft.
- Send in chat: send the invoice PDF in the conversation with a short summary (invoice number, total and due date).
- Create invoice and Create customer in Odoo from the panel.
- View in Odoo to open the customer in Odoo.
In Workflows
- Create invoice: create an Odoo customer invoice for the contact; later steps can send `{{invoice.number}}` and other invoice details.
- Create customer: create the contact in Odoo, or find the matching one.
Connect Odoo in minutes
Go to Settings › Apps in Resool, click Connect on Odoo and follow the steps. No code needed.
Read the setup guideFrequently asked questions
"That Odoo address can't be reached"
Resool must reach your Odoo over the public internet.
"This connection link is invalid or incomplete"
The approve page was opened without the details Odoo sends. Start again from `Settings > Resool` in Odoo and click Connect to Resool.
"You need a workspace where you are an admin to connect Odoo"
Only workspace Owners and Admins can approve the connection. Ask an admin to complete step 7, or to give you the Admin role.
Does Resool get full access to my Odoo?
No. The Resool app creates a dedicated Odoo user limited to Contacts and Invoicing. Resool reads and creates contacts and customer invoices through that user only.
